Background
Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) is responsible for housing, planning, devolution and local government policy, as well as community issues and the management of the European Regional Development Fund.
The Requirement
The DCLG library management system has over 10,000 items and the digital repository holds over 7000 Departmental publications. DCLG wanted to combine these into a fully integrated, open source library management system and looked to acquire this via Crown Commercial Service’s G-Cloud Framework catalogue (RM1557).
Our Success
DCLG selected Bramble Hub and PTFS Europe’s Koha Library Management System, with the VuFind discovery portal that will enable users to search both the library catalogue and the digital library.
