About Crown Commercial Service
Crown Commercial Service is the UK's largest provider of public sector framework agreements
CCS’s roots go all the way back to 1991 when the Buying Agency was established. Following a series of restructures and rebrands, CCS came into existence in its current form in 2014. It is an executive agency and trading fund of the Cabinet Office.
Bramble Hub has successfully bid to become a supplier on over 30 CCS frameworks, of which 14 are currently open for business. These include popular digital and consultancy framework agreements such as Management Consultancy Framework 3 (MCF3), Technology Services 3 (TS3) and Vertical Application Solutions (VAS).
CCS framework agreements play a key role in helping the UK public sector reduce costs. CCS estimates that its frameworks saved the public sector over £2.8bn in 2021/22.
In addition to saving costs, CCS frameworks are designed to help the public sector diversify supply chains, reduce carbon emissions, and promote diversity.
Who can use CCS frameworks?
CCS framework agreements can be used for procurement by central, regional and local government organisations as well as wider public sector bodies within the NHS, emergency services and elsewhere.
