Background
The College of Policing (CoP) is the professional body responsible for setting standards for the police service, including training, development, skills and qualifications, to ensure consistency across forces in England and Wales. They also take a coordinating role across the country, commissioning research and setting up regional networks, so that universities, further education colleges and police forces can work together to learn from best practice. The SAP Competency Centre provides support for the legacy SAP system that covers the Procurement, HR and Finance functions for CoP.
The Requirement
CoP needed a partner to work with the SAP Competency Centre to support its aging ERP (SAP) environment and to ensure its operational stability. CoP issued an RFP under Crown Commercial Service's Enterprise Application Support Services framework to cover operational support for incidents, emergencies and requests.
Our Success
Bramble Hub and its partner Edenhouse Solutions secured the contract with their EdenEdge service, which included transition, account management and roadmap development, detailed reporting and service reviews as well as the flexibility to call off all SAP activity across Edenhouse's very experienced consulting team to complement and enhance CoP's SAP Competency Centre. This allows the College to use the service flexibly; ensuring they are able to minimise the impact of any issues arising from the legacy system, whilst controlling their external spend.
