Background
The Scottish Government is the devolved government for Scotland and has a range of responsibilities that include: the economy, education, health, justice, rural affairs, housing, environment, equal opportunities, consumer advocacy and advice, transport and taxation.
The Requirement
The Scottish Government has set out an ambition to work with local authorities to develop the ambition of a public energy company. This would have the objective of tackling fuel poverty and ultimately contributing to economic development. They sought a contractor with the expertise to prepare and produce an Outline Business Case (OBC), sufficiently developed and detailed to allow them to make decisions on the way forward.
Our Success
Bramble Hub and Grant Thornton, together with their partners Cornwall Insight and Ecuity Consulting, were selected as offering the required expertise to deliver the OBC. Development of the OBC commenced on 1 November 2018.
