Background

The Human Fertilisation & Embryology Authority (HFEA) is a statutory body that regulates and inspects all clinics in the United Kingdom providing in vitro fertilisation (IVF), artificial insemination and the storage of human eggs, sperm or embryos. It also regulates human embryo research.

The Requirement

HFEA were transforming the 21 years of their Register data, from a form-based Register to a new relational database. They identified the need for specialist data migration expertise and looked to acquire this via the G-Cloud 8 Framework catalogue (RM1557viii), Lot 4 Specialist Cloud Services.

Our Success

HFEA contracted with Bramble Hub and our partner Northdoor plc to undertake a two-phase assurance exercise during January - March 2017.
