After more than five years at Bramble Hub, Neil Simpson, our Operations Director, is preparing to step back from day-to-day management into a more strategic senior role.

Neil’s career encompasses a wide range of roles in sales, project management, and consultancy. Initially starting out as a software developer, he founded his own venture in 1987. One of his first employees was a young Richard Archer, who later went on to create Bramble Hub and (many years later) became Neil’s employer!

Over the past few years, Neil has run the Tendering and Commercial Teams at Bramble Hub. Throughout his tenure, Neil's unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction has served as a cornerstone of Bramble Hub's operations, building strong relationships with customers, partners and colleagues.

Neil’s role heading up the Commercial Team will be taken over by Geoff Couling, who recently joined us from Computacenter. Geoff is a cricket-loving New Zealander who has lived in the UK for 25 years. Geoff is a solicitor with 20 years of experience, primarily in commercial contracting, and a deep understanding of contracting under frameworks.

Meanwhile, Mahri Gulberdiyeva, who has worked at Bramble Hub for eight years, takes over leadership of the Tendering Team (now renamed as the Openings and Opportunities Team).
