Dumfries And Galloway Selects Bramble Hub and RecordPoint To Modernize Records Management

Background:

Dumfries and Galloway Council (D&GC) is the third largest region in Scotland, covering over 2,000 square miles and almost 150,000 residents. As a unitary authority, the Council provides a full range of back office and front-line services involving extremely diverse and complex standards for information handling.

The Requirement

D&GC needed to provide their employees a modern records and information management system, leveraging Office 365 and SharePoint on-premises that was compliant with GDPR and would enable productivity gains, improved collaboration, and sharing across services. A tender was issued under Crown Commercial Service’s Corporate Software Solutions Framework, RM1042. 

Our Success

Bramble Hub and RecordPoint won the contract for a GDPR-compliant records and information management platform. The Council selected this solution as being the only one that offered D&GC “a clear journey to the cloud when we are ready, without additional process overhauls” (Lindsay Turpie - Records and Information Management Officer, Dumfries and Galloway)
