Background
Clackmannanshire Council (CC) is the smallest county council (just over 61 sq miles) in Scotland with a population of 51,500.
The Requirement
CC needed to replace their legacy Location Centre solution with a modern, cost-effective, end-to-end GIS platform that would improve the currency, accuracy and confidence in spatial data held by the council and would enable self-serve GIS applications for use within the council and to support citizens and partners in the community. CC accessed Crown Commercial Service’s Local Authority Software Applications catalogue, RM1059, via the Public Contracts Scotland website to identify a suitable solution.
Our Success
CC selected Bramble Hub and (Computer Aided Development Corporation Limited) Cadcorp’s off-the-shelf SIS WebMap software with additional FindIT and Noticeboard options to meet the Council’s internal and external user requirements.
