Background

Salix Homes (SH) is a housing association in the City of Salford, Greater Manchester and based in the Langworthy area of the city. It manages 10,500 homes in the Central Salford part of the district.

The Requirement

SH needed a modern, fully integrated housing repairs management system that would enable the housing association to control its costs, drive productivity and improve the effectiveness of its services. SH used Crown Commercial Service’s Local Authority Software Applications Framework catalogue, RM 1059 to identify and order a suitable solution.

Our Success

SH selected the AccuServ Property Repairs Job Management solution from Bramble Hub and InterNETalia. The AccuServ solution delivers full mobile working to its operatives, automatically adding labour and material job costs. Van stock replenishment is also automated with EDI links to merchants. KPI information is self-generating and SH management have full on-line access for management and analysis. The contract includes installation, implementation and training.
