High Speed Two appoints Bramble Hub and Cloudsource to develop their Vehicle Monitoring System

Background

High Speed Two (HS2) Limited is the company responsible for developing and promoting the UK’s new high speed, northsouth railway. Phase One will connect London with Birmingham and the WestMidlands; Phase Two will extend the route to Manchester, Leeds and beyond.

The Requirement

HS2 needs to monitor their contractor’s vehicle movements to ensure they do not breach environmental minimum requirements in the communities they were working in. The company was using suppliers’ systems and processes to gather this data but recognised that they needed a web-based Vehicle Monitoring System to collect and analyse data be able to prove compliance with the requirements.  HS2 issued a tender in September 217 for the development of a bespoke Vehicle Monitoring System and used the Digital Outcomes 2 framework from Crown Commercial Services to award the call-off contract.

Our Success

Bramble Hub and our partner Cloudsource were successful in winning the contract, which will run for 12 months from December 2017, with a 12-month extension option.
