Background
Sunderland City Council (SCC) is a metropolitan district council, one of five in Tyne and Wear which provides the majority of local government services to the city’s 274,000 residents and businesses.
The Requirement
SCC operates an SAP system to provide ERP and supplier relationship management services to its 900 users. The system needed upgrading and updating, to take advantage of the improved functionality, improved user experience and self-service capability available from SAP enhancement packs. A tender was issued under Crown Commercial Services’ Corporate Software Solutions framework, RM 1042 in March 2017 to secure the services of a suitably experienced partner.
Our Success
Bramble Hub and Absoft were judged to have the required experience and won the contract to deliver the SAP updates and enable the Council to realise the business benefits.
